Clint has a masters in marriage and family therapy and is trained in trauma, and sex addiction. He is also the Director of Recovery for The Hub: Urban Ministry which helps rescue men, women, and children out of human trafficking and poverty. Clint owns his own Counseling and Integrative Wellness Center, with 3 locations, with over 25 professionals from a wide range of modalities. The goal of this podcast is to get down to root issues by interviewing guests from different fields of study. This week Clint talks with Travis Goodman. Travis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Mind-Body Coach. He has been practicing over the past 9 years in both a hospital and private practice setting. He is also the founder of the Integrated Man Project which consists of a podcast and coaching program. He has further expertise, training, and certification in Attachment-Focused EMDR, Focusing-Oriented Trainer (FOT), Certified Felt Sense Polyvagal Model (FSPM), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
He has been married for 13 years to his amazing wife, Anna, and
resides in Southern California with their family. They have two boys
and a girl: Shepherd (6), Eli (4), and Iva (2). Travis is passionate
about continuing to grow as a father, husband, friend, and therapist.
Life in the Goodman family usually consists of lots of music (vinyl),
lots of playing on the floor and in the backyard, cooking, exploring
the outdoors, wrestling and tickling matches, and making up funny
songs together.

This week Clint talks with Pamela Ebstyne King, Ph.D. Dr. King has worked with the Thrive Center for Human Development since its inception in 2011. In 2021, she was named executive director of the Thrive Center and continues to serve as the Peter L. Benson Professor of Applied Developmental Science in Fuller’s School of Psychology & Marriage and Family Therapy.
Her primary academic interests are applied research at the intersection of human thriving and spiritual development. She is passionate about understanding what individual strengths and environments enable humans to thrive and become all God created them to be. She holds particular interest in understanding the role of faith, spirituality, religion, virtues in this process.
Dr. King’s work combines theology, empirical research, and community engagement to further understand what contexts and settings enable people to thrive. She has conducted research funded by Biologos Foundation and John Templeton Foundation, among others.

This week Clint talks with Britney Green. Britney has been a prosecuting attorney since 2008. As a prosecutor at the Caddo District Attorney's Office, Britney has focuses her efforts on the crisis of domestic violence. Currently, she serves as the Chief of Domestic Violence in the Special Victims Unit of her office. In that role, she handles felony cases involving all manner of family violence, including domestic abuse homicides. Britney supervises a team of investigators and victim advocates who share the dual mission of keeping victims safe and holding offenders accountable.

This week Clint talks with Marnie Ferree, M.A. Marnie is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Nashville, Tennessee, where she founded and directs Bethesda Workshops, a Christian-based, clinical intensive program for sex addicts – men and women – and partners of sex addicts. Since the early 1990s she has been a pioneer in the field: establishing the first gender-specific treatment for female sex addicts, creating the first intensive workshops for adolescents struggling with pornography and other forms of problematic sexual behavior, and telling her personal story of recovery on platforms large and small, including NBC’s Dateline in 2004. She is the author of No Stones: Women Redeemed from Sexual Addiction, which was one of the first works to address this problem in women and is still considered the definitive book for females. Marnie is also the co-author of Out of the Doghouse for Christian Men - A Redemptive Guide for Men Caught Cheating. She blogs regularly through Bethesda Workshops and speaks at clinical and recovery conferences and churches across the country.

This week Clint speaks with Grant Rogers. Grant is an entrepreneur and U.S. Army Veteran leveraging over 15 years of operations experience. He possesses a demonstrated history of using training and team building to create operational efficiency and effectiveness in organizations of over 1K employees.
Grant served in the United States Army with 1-14 Cavalry, 3rd Brigade Stryker Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Ft. Lewis Washington, 4th BSTB, 10th MTN Division, Ft. Polk Louisiana, 201st MI Battalion, 470th MI Brigade, Fort Sam Houston (JBSA) with one deployment to Iraq, three to Afghanistan and 1 to Qatar. Grant conducted several private intelligence contractor missions with train advise assist, Counter Intelligence Screening and liaising with Federal Agents.
He is skilled in Operational Planning, Project Management, Intelligence Analysis, and Product Development. He is a trusted advisor to C-Level executives and skilled in research, analysis, and examination of operational practices and procedures. Accustomed to working in fast-paced environments with the ability to think quickly and successfully navigate difficult situations.
He recently completed the University of Health and Performance obtaining his Personal Training Certification. Grant sees championing veterans as a worthy cause as a challenge, looks for better approaches to help others and is a strong influencer and leader, particularly within the veterans community.
Some of Grant’s service awards include: Combat Action Badge, Meritorious Unit Citation, Iraq Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Ribbon, and the Army Commendation Medal.

She is the author of BOTTOM LINE FOR BABY and co-author (with Dan Siegel) of the two New York Times best-selling books THE WHOLE-BRAIN CHILD and NO-DRAMA DISCIPLINE, along with THE YES BRAIN and THE POWER OF SHOWING UP.
Tina is a psychotherapist and the Founder/Executive Director of THE CENTER FOR CONNECTION in Pasadena, California. An LCSW, she graduated from Baylor University and earned her Ph.D. from the University of Southern California, where her research explored attachment science, childrearing theory, and the emerging field of interpersonal neurobiology. Dr. Bryson has an unusual knack for taking research and theory from various fields of science, and offering it in a way that’s clear, realistic, humorous, and immediately helpful.

This week Clint speaks with Dr. Joe Malone. Dr. Malone is a physiologist, taught for many years at Middle Tennessee State University and has guest lectured at Vanderbilt, Princeton, University of Miami, University of Alabama, and Catholic University of America as well as other major universities. He taught classes that ranged from Health and Wellness to Fitness Education for the Adult. Dr. Malone created a new course in 2012 called Women’s Personal Conditioning along with a sorority wellness program which was extraordinarily successful and effective. Dr. Malone was named Greek Faculty Member of the year in 2010 and 2016 for his wellness work with sororities. Additionally, he has worked with fraternities to promote greater sexual integrity among the young men. He holds a Ph.D. in Health and Human Performance with a minor in neuropsychology and a specialization in women’s health and sexual wellness.
Dr. Malone’s writing has been published in Heartbeat International’s Sexual Integrity Communiqué, Faith and Fitness Magazine, the Institute for Family Studies, Natural Womanhoodand Christian Health Magazine. He is becoming known as The Sexual Integrity Scientist. Malone has also earned national certifications as a Personal Trainer, Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant, and Fitness Educator. He is the former Chair of the Nashville Community Health and Wellness Team and the current Topic Network Chair for Health Promotion for the Society for the Study of Emerging Adulthood http://ssea.org/.
